Whats cool in school?

At school I like maths, P.E, classgames, reading,computer time, writing and........... EATING... on second thoughts...... PLAYTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At school for the last 2 weeks or so room2 has been going into room1 to bake bread from a procedure that comes from the Cook Islands. It is heaps of fun making the bread and only takes about 55 minutes to make it.

At school the library is the biggest i have ever seen in a school! It even has an upstairs computer suite.. SWEET(lol). We go there every Thursday and have turns on the computers that since we have been making these blogs, are for blogs

We al eat lunch out the front of the school with heaps of room to spare unless it is a rainy day (then we eat inside).

I think that the teacher of room2 (Dave) is the best in the school he does eaps of stuff at school including summit club, lots and lots of P.E and he can even walk on stilts! He is quite sharp for his age.

There is probably a heap of stuff that is cool at N.C.S that i don't know about since it is my first and last year here but don't you think that this is quite alot? Well thats my time for now L8R

You Gotta Come ......OUTSIDE

At school on a Thursday we have summit club where the people in the club walk up to the center of New Zealand and have lunch there ! Its heaps of fun and when you get to the top boy is it a sight. The picture at the bottom of my blog is me on summit club and these 2 pictures at the top are me and Finn, I am on the bottom and Finn is on the top. Around 45 children go on summit club on Thursdays but i have gone every single time with my friend Finn.
It takes about 45 minutes in time to complete the walk as it is 20 mins on the track then down again in 15 then 5 to come from school and go back. It is a great experience of nature and a heap of fun.

So if you live in Nelson and LOVE the great outdoors then you should give it a go.

Heres what is happening

There are many problems for the Earths people to solve and 1 problem is we aren't solving them! For example... Pollution: it is emmitting CO2 which heats up Earth which as you probably know that makes global warming : ( . A sollution could be to use cars that exhaust pipes don't destroy the atmospheres protection.
If global warming carrys on then in the next 100 years it would heat up .6 of a degree. 200 years:3degrees. 300 years: 15 degrees !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
Also there is population growth. Making more people means more CO2 being made meaning more trees cut down reducing the amount of oxygen making global warming !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So think about it, if we all did we could save the world.

my big interests

Here are some AWESOME pics

One of my biggest interests is space, I have learnt quite a lot about it. Did you know that in a few billion years the Andromeda Galaxy will come to Earths orbit?

I like to collect things to do with aliens as they are also 1 of my biggest interests.

at school

At school i also play games including: echo, high-mountains, pita-pata, handball and heaps of others.
When i play high mountains it is usually a compitetion between Joel and Tuwhare who are the best in the school (besides Dave our teacher), beacause Joel can make the ball go really high and Tuwhare can do the oppisite.
I usually play with Finn, Joel, Tuwhare, Dave, Garryn, Sam, Sam, and Ollie.
At school we do lots of stuff that is good for our education (thanks to Dave), and we try to be the best class we can. We are hardworking and one of the seineor classes so we are rolemodels for younger children.
My friends in Rm 2 are Finn, Sam, Ollie, Liam S, Liam C, Tuwhare, Niwa, Sam, Manaia and Jack.
